Past Projects
Jock Night
Jock Night is a sharp, contemporary play set within Manchester’s gay club scene, following a group of men whose lives intersect across one intense night of desire, friendship and vulnerability. It blends humour and raw honesty to explore intimacy, chemsex culture and the search for connection.

Life According to Saki
Life According to Saki is a richly imaginative play by Katherine Rundell, which casts the author-satirist H. H. Munro (“Saki”) as a soldier in the trenches of World War I, recounting his quirky, darkly comic stories to fellow recruits. The production won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival Fringe and subsequently transferred to New York for a run at the 4th Street Theatre in early 2017.

Macbeth
In Arrows & Traps’ 2016 gender-equal adaptation of Macbeth, David Paisley played the title role in a production noted for its stripped-back, horror-inflected approach and inventive casting choices. Reviews highlighted the ensemble’s physical intensity and the production’s fresh, unsettling take on the play, with gender-swapped roles such as Duncan and Banquo offering a contemporary re-framing of Shakespeare’s power dynamics.
